Amy Unruh is very excited to be editing and writing for Titan Spectator to inform the community of all things West Salem! A junior involved in theatre, choir, and National Honor Society, she is excited to add newspaper to her list of extracurricular activities.

Sydney Moneke is  sophomore at West Salem High School and is very excited to be working as an editor of the newspaper this year, alongside Amy Unruh. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, reading, writing, and spending time with family. 

Emily Harris is a freshman at West Salem High School. One of her favorite things in life is writing, but she is also very adventurous and loves hiking. She also loves being out in nature. 

Don is 15 years old and is a sophomore. His favorite color is blue, and he is excited to be a part of the Titan Spectator this year. 

Zara Moore is a multi-sport athlete here at West Salem. She writes articles for the newspaper, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her cats and dogs. She is a sophomore this year and speaks Spanish!

Sebastian Files is a 15 year old, fully published author, with 4 books on the market. He is a freshman at West Salem High School, and enjoys riding bikes, reading, writing, and collecting vintage antiques. 

Isabelle Lawton, who goes by Izzy, is 15 years old. She has four pets (three dogs and one cat) and enjoys art and reading. Her favorite book genre is fiction, and her favorite dessert is ice cream. 

Finn Summar is a sophomore at West this year.  Her hobbies include writing, climate change, Emergency Services, thrifting, and working at camp and outdoor school. She wants to be a paramedic, and eventually go to grad school to be a Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. 

Tyler Mercier is a freshman at West this year. He is involved in Lacrosse, Band, and National Honors Society. He is very excited to be a part of the titan spectator and what he will learn from it. 

John Odell is starting his 21st year of teaching at West, but has been teaching overall for 28 years. He has had the pleasure of being involved in journalism classes for 15 years.
